Don't have this radio sation yet, but when i heard it in a Radio Shack I heard two Elvis songs that i had never heard before in the space of about ten minutes. Awesome.

Yea, it's very cool to be able to listen to all Elvis anytime you like without all the crapy dj stuff. When they do announce at least it's relevant and interesting facts about Elvis and his music.

Personally I love satelite radio and think it will give local radio stations a run for their money. Other than traffic and local weather most local stations just play the same songs and format.

Now radio is going to another format that might be able to keep up with satelite. It's the new HD standard.

This will allow local stations to be able to broadcast multiple stations without having to invest in more towers and transmitters as well as more studios.

There's one station in Vegas now that has no disc jockeys. It's all automated but they play all kind of music.

You could hear a heavey rock song and then next a Kenny Rogers song.

It's a trip but cool if you like lots of variety.

Anyway.. radio will be changing because of technology and the cost associated with programming.
